16.08.2016 вышла англоязычная версия WordPress 4.6 под названием «Papper Adams» (по традиции на честь джазового исполнителя), русскоязычная версия WordPress 4.6 ожидается 17.08 утром. Что нового внесли разработчики в данное обновление, какие глобальные изменения нас ожидают, об этом мы и поговорим в этой публикации.
Стоит забежать немного вперед и сказать, что это обновление не имеет широкомасштабных изменений, а лишь вносит много улучшений. Для рядовых пользователей WordPress версия 4.6 привнесет не много изменений, но улучшения стоят хотя бы ознакомления.

Когда вы набираете текст, WordPress сохраняет его в браузер. В версии 4.6 восстановление сохранённого содержимого стало ещё проще.
По умолчанию WordPress сохраняет заголовок и текст в браузере каждые 15 секунд, и перед отправкой формы. Так как содержание в браузере является более новой, WordPress 4.6 будет восстанавливать его в первую очередь, прежде чем обращаться к автосохранениям.
Короче говоря, ели у вас перезагрузилась страница, тогда WordPress восстановит не версию с автосохранения, а свежую версию из куков браузера.
