Однажды в магазине я попросил кое-что мне разъяснить продавца-консультанта. Но она — то ли по незнанию, то ли из вредности – пренебрежительно ответила: «Не знаю, молодой человек. Ничем не могу помочь».

Что такое дизайн пользовательского опыта (UX-дизайн)?
Если коротко, то в мире высоких цифровых технологий UX-дизайном называют создание подробной схемы того, как функционирует продукт. Это и свойства продукта и польза от него, и весь процесс работы с ним. Идеально если UX-дизайнер подключается уже на ранних стадиях разработки. Пользовательский маршрут и интерфейс, графический, интерактивный и анимационный дизайн, клиентская разработка – все это только некоторые обязательные элементы, необходимые для создания цифрового продукта.
Вся разработка связана с пользовательским опытом
Да, отдельные части процесса важны. Бегуны, которые бегут не по своей дорожке или пытаются ее сменить, очень часто падают. Для большей эффективности и масштабируемости, не обойтись без отдельных специализаций и их координирования. (То же касается любого вида деятельности). Но узкая сосредоточенность на одной единственной задаче в ущерб всему процессу – это здесь существенный недостаток. Что называется за деревьями не видно леса. Так чем же является UX-дизайн на самом деле? Определения нам в помощь. Давайте разбираться.
Пользователь
В мире цифровых технологий «пользователем» принято называть только конечного пользователя. Бизнес менеджер здесь использовал бы слово «потребитель». Такое разделение вполне целесообразно, потому что пользователи и творцы продукта (дизайнеры, разработчики) – не одно и то же. И конечных пользователей нужно как-то именовать. Плохо же то, что цифровой бизнес обезличил это понятие . Ведь кем в конце концов является «конечный пользователь», разве не человеком? Всегда конкретным человеком. Да и потом это понятие слишком узкое, так как разные виды продуктов (не только цифровые) предназначены для разных типов пользователей (не только конечных). Они предназначены для клиентов со своими собственными нуждами и требованиями к продукту, а также акционерами с собственными деловыми интересами. И все они так или иначе «пользователи».
Опыт
Под опытом подразумеваются качество и тип продукта, то как он взаимодействует с человеком. Оба эти показатели важны. Вот вы сейчас читаете «продукт» — статью. Ее тип — это язык (русский) и форма письма (слева направо и сверху вниз). А качество — сумбурность, многословность и скучность. Вот это и есть «опыт» продукта-статьи.
Дизайн
Здесь дизайн – это метод, помогающий решать поставленную задачу инновационным путем. Определение «метод» вполне уместно, так как мы имеем дело с процессом (или набором процессов). Слово «инновационный» здесь тоже неслучайно, ведь если бы кто-то поставленную задачу уже решил, то браться бы за нее уже не пришлось. Ну и наконец «решение задачи». Это определение тоже подходит, потому что мы упорно стараемся добиться того, чтобы все отвечало требованиям и поставленным целям.
Как распределяются обязанности
Помните, о чем мы только что говорили? Если суть ресторанного бизнеса – удовлетворять клиентов, то этим должен заниматься каждый работник ресторана. Если футбол – игра, в которой выигрывает команда, забившая больше мячей, то каждый игрок должен стараться послать мяч в сетку, когда представится такая возможность. И тот невежливый продавец-консультант со своим «ничем не могу помочь» всегда обязан помогать. Еда, спорт, служба работы с клиентами – во всех сферах деятельности все должны стремиться к какой-нибудь конечной цели. Это дело каждого, независимо от профессии.
«Хочешь увидеть лес, не зацикливайся на отдельном дереве».
В дизайне, никому и никогда нельзя забывать о пользовательском опыте. И вот почему. Люди формулируют задачи, которые затем решают. Они оценивают эти решения. Люди определяют, решена задача или нет. Каждое решение создано именно ими. Во Вселенной могут существовать и другие типы задач, но те, которые определены людьми, ими же и решаются.
Кто разрабатывает опыт пользователей?
Дизайнеры. Потому что, если мы решаем проблемы для людей (пользователей), то опыт этих людей обязательно важен. И это касается всех дизайнеров. Индустриальные дизайнеры, которые разрабатывают более эргономичную беговую дорожку, архитекторы, которые проектируют более экологичные здания, и конечно же UX-дизайнеры, которые усовершенствуют самое обычное приложение – все они обязательно учитывают нужды пользователя. И критерием успешности их решений (во всяком случае отчасти) будет как раз пользовательский опыт.
Дизайн – невероятно разнообразная сфера человеческой деятельности. Дизайнеры решают всевозможные проблемы в разнообразных ситуациях для самых разных людей. И именно поэтому любой дизайн можно назвать дизайном человеческого опыта.
